Does anyone have any idea or advice on how to make this work? The pity is that the laptop (dv7) does not recognize my Wireless N (not even standing next to the router). I tried to download the driver from the website of intel, but this does not work either. I tried to troubleshoot everything and he can't always find the driver even when the computer is online. But now I have to run my connection wireless off an external usb wireless adapter and I can't one that is internal to the work. I even tried unnistalling Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi software and re - install it and still the only one who does not install properly is the "Intel Centrino Wireless - N 6150" and "Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter" and the "Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter #2".»Ĭan anyone help me, it bothers the heck out of me. My wireless adapter works it is what I use now to connect to internet.
It's very strange because when I run the driver from the Intel site, it has finished installing, but in Device Manager, I always get a "!" mark next to the device. I downloaded the driver from the website of th HP, I have download the driver in the Intel site and always used to install. All the other drivers loaded without any problems. Everything is OK except the wireless Intel Centrino N + WiMAX 6150 driver will not load. Just bought the laptop today and did a fresh install of Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.
